Paid Media Manager (Promotion Program)

Long Island City, New York

About the Role

This is not a traditional job. It’s a fast-track growth program designed for digital paid media professionals who want to accelerate into leadership and diversify into an omni-channel marketer.

At WITHIN, we’re looking for professionals with 2+ years of hands-on experience in paid media (paid social and/or paid search) who have worked directly on revenue optimization (ROAS, CPA and overall spend efficiency), including scaling campaigns profitably.

You will be hired as a Digital Media Strategist, managing performance campaigns focused on revenue growth, while being trained to expand beyond execution into client strategy, communication, and leadership. You’ll gain exposure to high-growth brands, full-funnel performance marketing, and cross-channel strategy.

Career Path Top performers will be promoted to Paid Media Manager within 6–12 months, depending on performance and growth speed.

In this role, you will:

  1. Own client relationships and lead strategic direction

  2. Oversee multi-channel campaigns (search, social, programmatic)

  3. Mentor and manage junior team members

  4. Drive performance across integrated marketing initiatives

  5. Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams

What You’ll Do

  1. Manage and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms like Meta and Google Ads (training is included for candidates who have experience in only one of these platforms)

  2. Focus on driving revenue and improving ROAS, not just engagement or traffic

  3. Analyze cross-channel performance data and deliver actionable insights

  4. Build and present performance reports and KPI dashboards

  5. Partner with cross-functional teams to execute growth strategies

  6. Conduct A/B testing and apply data-driven optimization techniques

  7. Provide creative and copy recommendations based on performance data

  8. Develop client communication and strategy skills

  9. Prepare to take ownership of accounts in a future manager role

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of hands-on paid media experience (Meta, Google Ads, etc.)

  • Direct experience optimizing campaigns for revenue (ROAS, CPA) is REQUIRED

  • Proven ability to manage budgets and scale performance campaigns

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)

  • Interest in growing into a client-facing, strategic leadership role

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Bonus points if you have DTC and/or Retail client experience and feed management experience

What This Is Not

  • Not an organic social or content role

  • Not an entry-level role

  • Not a pure execution role long-term — this is a clear path to management

  • Not a fit if your experience is primarily in awareness, reach, traffic, or engagement campaigns without direct revenue responsibility

  • Not a training ground for performance fundamentals — you must already know how to optimize for revenue (ROAS, CPA)

Our interview process includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Typing Test

  • Logic assessment on Excel

We offer a competitive salary and benefits based on education, experience, and skills level, including:

  • Unlimited vacation policy
  • Monthly Phone Stipend
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance options
  • 401(K) plan with matching
  • Dog friendly office
  • Hybrid work opportunity
  • Professional Development Program
  • Bonus Perk - $50/week Seamless allowance

Total compensation based on education, experience, and skills level ($50,400-$88,000)

  • Level 1 - $50,400-$57,920
    • Possesses essential capabilities.
  • Level 2 - $57,920-$65,440
    • Possesses developing capabilities.
  • Level 3 - $65,440 - $72,960
    • Possesses notable capabilities.
  • Level 4 -  $72,960-$80,480
    • Possesses strong capabilities.
  • Level 5 - $80,480-$88,000
    • Possesses advanced capabilities.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
