Telehealth Paid Media Director

New York City

About the Role:

As a Paid Media Director, you will lead paid media strategy, performance, and client relationships across complex consumer acquisition programs, with a focus on Telehealth and digital health. You will lead cross-functional teams while staying close to the platforms, performance data, measurement and business economics required to drive profitable growth.

This role requires deep paid media expertise combined with an understanding of what makes Telehealth and digital health acquisition different: advertising and data-use restrictions, privacy-constrained measurement, complex patient journeys, and the need to connect media acquisition to downstream patient and business outcomes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated paid media strategies across paid social, paid search, display, video, and emerging platforms.
  • Own senior client relationships, translating business objectives, customer economics, and growth goals into clear media strategies, measurement frameworks, testing roadmaps, and recommendations.
  • Lead paid media strategy for Telehealth and regulated healthcare businesses, navigating platform policies, privacy and data-use restrictions, measurement constraints, and business economics.
  • Oversee media planning, forecasting, performance and investment decisions, using acquisition efficiency, incrementally, and business economics to guide budget allocation and growth.
  • Diagnose performance beyond the media account, identifying how creative, conversion experiences, patient flows, measurement, product, and economics may enable or constrain growth.
  • Establish structured testing approaches across media, creative, targeting, offers, and conversion experiences, including environments with restricted targeting or limited conversion signals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams of media buyers and strategists, establishing high standards for strategic thinking, execution, analytical rigor, and client service.
  • Maintain deep platform fluency and step into campaign structure, optimization, tracking, and performance detail when needed to guide teams and troubleshoot challenges.
  • Improve team processes, operating standards, and ways of working to support quality, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Stay current on changes in healthcare advertising policies, privacy and data-use requirements, measurement practices, and advertising platforms.

Requirements:

  • Must currently live in New York City.
  • 8+ years of paid media or performance marketing experience, including significant agency experience and senior-level ownership of complex consumer acquisition programs, and at least 2 years of experience with Telehealth businesses.
  • Demonstrated experience leading paid media strategy for Telehealth, digital health, or similarly regulated healthcare businesses. Direct-to-consumer Telehealth experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Telehealth patient acquisition journeys and how media connects to downstream clinical, customer, and business outcomes.
  • Deep cross-channel expertise across paid social, paid search, display, video, and other relevant media channels, particularly Meta and Google.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare advertising and data-use restrictions and their implications for targeting, optimization, creative, conversion tracking, and measurement.
  • Strong understanding of acquisition economics, including CAC, contribution margin, retention/LTV, and payback, and the ability to connect media performance to broader business outcomes.
  • Experience managing meaningful media budgets and complex, cross-channel acquisition programs.
  • Proven success managing and developing high-performing media teams through coaching, training and clear performance standards, while leading senior-level client relationships.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial thinking, with the ability to turn complex performance and business data into clear recommendations and decisions.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with experience working across analytics, creative, product, engineering, legal/compliance, and other stakeholders.

Our interview process includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  •  Typing Test and logic assessment on Excel

We offer a competitive salary and benefits based on education, experience, and skills level, including:
