Pitch Deck Designer - Freelance

Mexico City, Mexico

About the role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Presentation Designer to support the creation of pitch decks, sales presentations, and other slide-based materials across a variety of brands. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning information into clear, polished visual stories and who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of design fundamentals (typography, layout, visual hierarchy, grids, color, and image editing) and knows how to apply them within the constraints of a slide. They should be comfortable working from creative briefs, existing templates, and brand guidelines while taking direction and feedback from senior designers and other team members.

We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive, organized, and able to manage their work within established timelines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design and lay out pitch decks, client presentations, credentials decks, and internal presentations following established brand guidelines and templates.
  • Translate written content, outlines, and data into clear slides with strong visual hierarchy and easy-to-follow flow.
  • Build charts, diagrams, timelines, and infographics that make complex information easy to understand.
  • Adapt existing decks into new versions, formats, and aspect ratios while maintaining visual quality and consistency.
  • Source, edit, and prepare imagery, icons, and mockups for use in presentations.
  • Apply consistent use of master slides, styles, and components so decks stay editable and easy to update.
  • Collaborate with other designers, strategists, account teams, to refine content and visuals.
  • Receive feedback constructively and apply revisions accurately and efficiently, often under tight deadlines.
  • Prepare and deliver final files in the required formats (Google Slides, PowerPoint, Keynote, PDF) according to technical specifications.
  • Manage multiple decks at once, prioritize tasks, and communicate proactively about progress, questions, or potential delays.
  • Stay current with presentation design trends, AI-powered workflows, and evolving tools.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of professional design experience, including internships, freelance work, or entry-level roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A portfolio that includes presentation or pitch deck work and shows strong typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Proficiency in Google Slides, including working with master slides and templates.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Basic data visualization skills (charts, tables, diagrams).
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and interest in incorporating them into design workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep consistency across long documents and many slides.
  • Ability to interpret briefs, follow design direction, and incorporate feedback accurately.
  • Good communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Experience in an agency or fast-paced marketing environment is a plus.
  • Basic motion skills (slide transitions, simple animations) are a plus.

We offer a competitive wage based on ability level, including:

  • Base rate DOE
  • Remote work (this is a remote role, but must be based in Latin America)

Note. Please submit your resume in English.
