Program Financial Analyst II

Agile Space Industries, Inc. (AGILE) designs, builds, and tests in-space propulsion systems for satellites and spacecraft. AGILE uses state of the art 3D metal alloy printing techniques to rapidly design, manufacture, and test new engine designs in our purpose-built propulsion test facility. With over a decade of experience testing rocket engines, and engineers who have worked at industry leaders like Blue Origin, SpaceX, NASA, and Aerojet Rocketdyne, AGILE is a rapidly growing company with many exciting Defense, Civil and Commercial programs.
AGILE is headquartered is Durango, CO with a facility in Mount Pleasant, PA and growing presence in Tulsa, OK. The CEO, CFO and CCO are based around Boulder, CO.
About the Role
As a Program Financial Analyst II, you will be using your skills and expertise to support our program management team to review, monitor, and control project data in support of our internal and external project reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Program Managers in preparing budgets and schedules for contract work
- Assisting with cost proposals
- Preparing pricing documentation "what-if" cost analysis
- Supporting program cost forecasting
- Generating cost variance analysis
- Supporting program baselining process
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Practical facilitation skills that address complex IT and Business stakeholder concerns, specifically around tool maintenance and continuous improvement activities
- Experience in Deltek and/or other similar Integrated Program Management software solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable working independently on assigned tasks to fulfill requested changes, enhancements and updates to existing processes and tools
- Continuous engagement to understand current and future tool capabilities relative to business needs
- Ability to develop and conduct relevant stakeholder learning sessions
- Foundational understanding of Program Management processes
- Familiarity with DoD, government contracting and/or public auditing, policies, standards, and procedures
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
- Knowledge of program finance processes, procedures, and tools
- Experience with generating custom financial reports or willingness to learn
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field and typically 3+ years of related work experience.
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
- Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity
- Rarely lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs
Employment Type: Exempt
Salary: $85,000 - $112,000
Work Schedule: Full-Time
Location: Durango, CO
Remote: No – Position requires 100% on-site support in Durango, CO
