Agile Space Industries is seeking a remote Buyer to join our team. At Agile Space Industries we are redefining the future of in-space propulsion. Our team is dedicated to designing, developing, and producing cutting-edge rocket engines and hardware that enable groundbreaking R&D and commercial space missions. We value innovation, precision, and collaboration, and we are seeking a talented individual to join our Purchasing Team as a Buyer.

In this role, you will collaborate with Program Managers, the Quality team, and the Engineering team to support delivery schedules. You will manage the procurement of parts for rocket engine assemblies and our testing facility. On a daily basis you will work with our Production Planners to ensure materials are purchased and available when needed. Additionally, we believe you will make meaningful contributions to continuous improvements that enhance the efficiency of our supply chain.

This role can be onsite or remote, and we are currently accepting candidates residing in Colorado, Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, Washington, Utah and Oklahoma. You MUST live and work from one these states to work remotely for Agile Space Industries. 

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in team environments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to handle confidential information in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Costpoint or other ERP systems
  • Manufacturing experience, including Kanban and inventory methodologies
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization and with suppliers
  • Strong critical thinking and data analysis skills
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100, ISO9001, or NADCAP
  • Experience in aerospace or space-related manufacturing environments (defense, civil, or commercial)
  • Experience with DPAS, EAR and/or ITAR regulatory frameworks

 

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Employment Type: Exempt

The expected salary range for this role is $53,000-$72,100 annually. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity, and is typically made within the midrange, rather than the upper end.

Work Schedule: Full Time

Location: Remote - Prefer candidates in Durango, CO or Tulsa, OK
