Agile Space Industries is seeking a remote Project Finance Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting across our aerospace and Department of Defense programs. This role partners closely with Program Management, Engineering, Contracts, and Finance to ensure accurate project controls, compliant cost tracking, and timely financial insights that support operational and strategic decision making. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Deltek Costpoint experience and a strong understanding of government contracting requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Support project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking across assigned programs
- Maintain accurate project financial data in Deltek Costpoint, ensuring alignment with contract structure and requirements
- Prepare program financial reports including actuals vs budget, EACs/ETCs, burn rate analysis, and monthly program summaries
- Partner with Program Managers to monitor performance, identify financial risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Support revenue recognition, indirect rate application, and monthly financial close activities
- Review labor, materials, subcontractor, and ODC charges for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with internal controls
- Prepare financial inputs for proposals, RFPs, ROMs, and contract modifications
- Coordinate with Accounting and Contracts to support billing, funding actions, and contract changes
- Develop and maintain standardized financial dashboards and reporting tools
- Support internal and external audits including DCAA and DCMA
- Assist with project setup, closeout, and ongoing cost control compliance
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Three or more years of experience in project finance, program control, or government contracting financial analysis
- Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint (project setup, cost tracking, reporting)
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and government cost accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data modeling
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical, business, and leadership teams
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, R&D, or engineering programs
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and tools such as Cobra
- Experience with WAWF/iRAPT or government invoicing platforms
- Pricing or proposal costing experience
- Active or prior security clearance

Remote - U.S.-based candidates only. Preference for those near Durango, CO or open to occasional on-site visits.

Salary: $89,600-130,800
The posted salary band reflects the compensation range for candidates located in Colorado, in compliance with Colorado state law. If you are located in another state, please contact HR to inquire about the applicable compensation band, as requirements may vary by jurisdiction.
Remote Status: Yes – with occasional on-site support in Durango, CO
