THE ROLE 

Key responsibilities 

Your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering and process mapping through to the design of future state models and the support of implementation activities, including testing, user adoption and operational change. 

 

Specific duties 

Depending on the project, you will need to be comfortable doing the following: 

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements and current state business processes through various techniques, ensuring a clear understanding of the 'as-is' landscape.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document future state business processes and target operating models (people, process, and systems), ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.  
  • Quantify and document the anticipated benefits of proposed process changes, including Return on Investment (ROI) analysis, to support informed decision-making. 
  • Design and facilitate engaging workshops with end-users and key stakeholders to gather insights, validate requirements, and drive consensus towards future state solutions.  
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation and provide technical input to support the successful delivery of transformation initiatives.  
  • Design, document, and support the delivery of testing (including UAT) and training programs to ensure successful adoption and implementation of new processes and technology.

The ideal candidate will have a track-record in delivering results while embracing change and uncertainty. Stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role. 

 

The Ideal Candidate 

 

  • Experience and Knowledge: 
  • Experience working with project documentation and providing technical input. 
  • Experience of elicitation, capture and documentation of business requirements and current state business processes. 
  • Experience creating and documenting future state business processes. 
  • Experience elicitation of, capturing, quantifying and documenting process change benefits. 
  • Experience analysing processes, data and systems. 
  • Ability to create future state operating models; people, process and systems 
  • Ability to design and facilitate a series of workshops and engage end-users and key stakeholders. 
  • Ability to design, document and deliver testing, UAT and training programmes 
  • Ability to design and implement operational change programmes. 
  • Ability to analyse, document and present Return on Investment (ROI) of proposed future state operating models. 
  • Strong stakeholder management, effectively managing expectations and validating deliverables. 

 

  • Certifications: 2 of the 4 required  
  • BCS Business Analysis Practitioner, IIBA CCBA or equivalent 
  • Lean Six Sigma White Belt 
  • BPM Certified Business Process Associate (CBPA) 
  • Relevant Microsoft Applied certifications 

 

  • Skills: 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Analytical thinking and process orientated 
  • Able to build relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and opportunities
