The Opportunity:

The UX Research Team strives to understand traveler needs and behaviors to provide an exceptional user experience on Agoda. To that end, we use a variety of different methods, including surveys, usability tests, and 1:1 interviews. 

We’re looking for an excellent communicator who is knowledgeable about research to join our team. As a User Research Coordinator, you will help support research from beginning to end, including participant recruitment, user interviews, survey design, and data analysis.

In this Role, you'll get to: 

  • Help recruit participants by working with external vendors and internal data teams
  • Help design studies to uncover user needs and measure perceptions, attitudes, and behavioral intentions
  • Help execute end-to-end primary research using a variety of different methods
  • Help triangulate research findings by pulling and combining different data sources (e.g., interviews, surveys, behavioral logs)
  • Work independently and autonomously in executing tasks
  • Work cross-functionally with design, product, content, and marketing teams
  • Communicate results and help inform product development

What you'll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human-Computer Interaction, Statistics, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
  • Knowledge of basic qualitative and quantitative methods such as 1:1 interviews, usability tests, and surveys
  • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple research projects in fast-paced settings
  • Interest in executing hands-on, primary research
  • Interest in learning new methods and tools
  • Speak and write fluently in English

It's Great if you have:

  • Experience with survey design and response effects
  • Experience with online survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Alchemer)
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., Mailchimp)
  • Experience with travel products, user-centered design, or product development
  • Experience coding in SQL, R, Python, or equivalent
  • Understand statistical analysis methods such as t-tests, chi-square tests, linear regressions, and ANOVA
