Agoda’s Legal team is well suited to take on the challenges presented, adopting a proactive mindset to tackle challenges and solve problems. The Opportunity:

 As a Legal Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our legal department. You will be responsible for managing various projects related to legal technology, processes optimization, budget and finance management, and supporting the legal team in various operational tasks.

The role reports to the Manager, Legal Operations.

This position is based in Bangkok, Thailand, with a hybrid working setup (3 days in-office). No full-remote option available.

In this Role, you'll get to:

  • Legal Technology Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of legal technology solutions, such as legal-AI tools, e-billing, contract management systems, and document management systems.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline legal processes and improve efficiency. Develop and implement best practices for the legal department.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze legal data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements. Generate reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics.
  • Vendor/Invoice Management: Manage the invoicing process including reviewing, approving, and tracking invoices to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Budget/Spend Reporting: Assist in managing the legal department's budget, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Project Support: Provide support for various legal projects, including research, documentation, and coordination with other departments.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Assist in developing and implementing compliance programs/documentation (eg. SOP, policy, guidelines)

What you'll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in legal operations or a similar role in process improvement/project management.
  • Strong understanding of legal technology and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
