The Opportunity

We are looking for a potential leader to lead the accounting processes and delivery of FX, hedging, and other treasury-related activities. Ensure complex treasury transactions are accurately accounted for, documented, and delivered on time, while partnering with Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Finance Systems, and other teams to improve processes and support business initiatives.

In This Role, You'll Get To

  • Lead the accounting treatment and operational execution of FX and hedging activities across relevant entities.
  • Coordinate daily hedge-cycle accounting activities, investigate exceptions, and work with Treasury and other teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain and improve accounting procedures, decision rules, and supporting documentation for treasury and hedging processes.
  • Support the accounting treatment of complex hedging programmes, including preparation and review of relevant accounting analyses and documentation.
  • Prepare and review treasury-related journal entries, hedge accounting calculations, reconciliations, and month-end close deliverables.
  • Support accurate and timely accounting for FX exposures, hedge settlements, revaluations, and other treasury transactions.
  • Contribute to treasury projects, including requirements of gathering, process design, accounting analysis, testing, implementation, and post-implementation follow-up.
  • Coordinate with Treasury, Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Finance Systems, Technology, and relevant business teams to deliver treasury accounting outcomes.
  • Support the preparation of responses and documentation for internal and external audit requests related to treasury, FX, and hedging.
  • Maintain clear process guidance and working documentation for treasury accounting tasks, including procedures, accounting rationale, and issue-resolution steps.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and clarity in treasury accounting processes.
  • Support ad hoc treasury accounting analysis and projects as business needs arise.
  • Work with Risk and Controls to ensure proper controls over hedging activities are in place.
  • Experience in direct cashflow, cash segregation, cash pooling and intercompany settlements are good to have.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in treasury accounting, FX, hedge accounting, or financial reporting.
  • Understanding of FX transactions, derivatives, and hedge-accounting concepts.
  • Experience supporting month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate projects and work with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial systems and advanced Excel; familiarity with treasury or reconciliation platforms is an advantage.
