Relationship Manager

We are in search of a Relationship Manager I, II, or III to join our Credit Resolution department in Twin Falls, Idaho. This full-time position reports to the SVP, Portfolio Manager and is accountable for ensuring timely correction and collection of adversely classified loan portfolio through proactive service and management.
Compensation Information
The base salary range for this position in Twin Falls, Idaho is:
Level I:
Typical starting range: $66,200 - $88,700
Full base salary range: $66,200 - $99,900
Annual performance-based incentive target is 12% of base.
Level II:
Typical starting range: $72,600 - $97,800
Full base salary range: $72,600 - $125,200
Annual performance-based incentive target is 15% of base.
Level III:
Typical starting range: $89,400 - $124,500
Full base salary range: $89,400 - $142,000
Annual performance-based incentive target is 20% of base.
*Relocation assistance will be provided to eligible candidates who must relocate to accept this position.
Essential Duties
- Manage assigned loan portfolio, primarily consisting of adversely classified production agriculture accounts, assure timely servicing and resolution of delinquencies or defaults, and, when appropriate, upgrade and transfer accounts back to lending staff.
- Analyze and service larger loan relationships with increasing complexity and risk profile, monitor for loan performance; prepare high quality credit packages.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis that results in sound credit recommendations that manage organization risk and provide a path to resolution of higher risk loan relationships.
- Make quality credit decisions to ensure acceptable loan administration and approve or recommend loan actions within delegated authority.
- May participate in acquired property management, as assigned.
- Maintain effective relationship management including analyzing, interpreting, and presenting financial information; and meeting with and negotiating terms and conditions with assigned accounts, which may include attending meetings with legal counsel and customers.
- Accurately classify loans and loan data attributes including recommended charge-offs/reserves, cash income accounting and allowances on assigned loans; and accurately report portfolio quality, statistics, and loan activity to supervisor.
- Collaborate with the Lending and Insurance Group participating in large OAEM servicing/shadowing to assure sound risk management and guidance for high-risk credit relationships with an above average potential of downgrade to an adversely classified loan classification.
- Establish valuations of real estate, personal property and other collateral, effectively utilizing loan pricing programs, models, and tools.
- Participate in loan closings by ensuring the appropriate documentation is completed and understood by the customer.
- Gather financial information and assist in credit investigations, public record searches, employment/income verifications, and customer visits.
- Handle customer information with a high degree of confidentiality; follow appropriate information security protocols; ensure media inquiries and requests are referred to appropriate staff.
- Represent and communicate the values, purpose, and mission of AgWest to employees, customers, the public, and other target audiences.
- Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Other duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%, including overnight travel throughout the AgWest territory.
- AgWest employees may occasionally be asked to travel for all-staff or team meetings not included in the standard travel requirements for the role.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Generally requires at least two years’ progressively complex professional experience, preferably in banking or credit including restructuring, knowledge of borrower rights, and acquired property management
- Ability to understand and interpret increasingly complex financial statements, loan documents and collateral documents, and draw appropriate conclusions
- Solid understanding of bankruptcy and foreclosure processes and laws
- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate terms on behalf of the organization, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to implement effective control and monitoring procedures
- Knowledge of real estate market and real estate law
- Appropriate state driver's license, or ability to acquire prior to start date, required
