Head of Partnerships - Letaido

Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; Palo Alto, California, United States

About Letaido

Letaido is an AI teammate for marketing teams. Not a chatbot that answers questions, an agent with its own workspace, that does the work: pulls the data, builds the tool, writes the report, ships the page, and keeps it running on a schedule.

Ask it for a content gap analysis and it queries Ahrefs directly. Ask it to track competitor ads and it builds you an app for that and keeps it updated. It connects to the systems marketers already live in HubSpot, Slack, Notion, Google Ads, Search Console, Stripe and around fifty others and it can stand up a public site or an internal dashboard without a developer.

It’s built inside Ahrefs, which gives it something almost no AI product has: fifteen years of web crawling infrastructure, petabytes of first-party index data, and no investors setting the timeline.

We are Ahrefs, a bootstrapped company that builds SEO and marketing tools used by hundreds of thousands of professionals worldwide. We’ve been profitable and independent for fifteen years, which means we answer to our users rather than to investors.

The role

You’ll build Letaido’s partnerships from nothing, the integrations, the co-marketing, the communities, and the people who will tell others about it.

This is an outbound role. Most of the value in the early days comes from conversations you start rather than inbound you field, so you’ll be identifying who matters, reaching out, and turning interest into something real. Not logo-collecting: partnerships that actually send us users or make the product more useful.

It’s hands-on and foundational at the same time. You’ll do the outreach yourself, and what you prove out becomes how we do partnerships from then on.

You’ll report directly to the Head of Letaido, so the distance between your idea and a decision is one conversation.

This role is based out of one of our US offices — Palo Alto or Cambridge (MA). You can be based in whichever of these you have the legal right to work in, but this is an on-site role: we’re looking for someone who’ll be in the office with the team.

What you’ll do

  • Own partnerships end to end — sourcing, outreach, negotiation, launch, and the follow-through that makes them work.
  • Build the integration story. Letaido connects to around fifty tools already, and the partners behind them are an obvious place to start.
  • Run co-marketing that’s worth the effort on both sides — joint content, launches, webinars, newsletter swaps.
  • Work with the agency, consultant and creator communities who advise marketing teams and shape what they adopt.
  • Turn the people who love the product into people who talk about it publicly.
  • Keep it honest. A partnership that doesn’t send users isn’t a partnership, and we’d rather find that out fast.
  • Use Letaido to research targets and run your own outreach, and tell the team where it falls short.

You’ll thrive here if

  • You’ve built partnerships from a standing start and can point to ones that produced real users or revenue.
  • You’re genuinely comfortable with outbound. You’ll be starting most of these conversations.
  • You can hold a technical conversation about an integration without needing an engineer in the room for every call.
  • You write good outreach — short, specific, and obviously not a template.
  • You’ve worked with communities or creators, and you understand the difference between a sponsorship and a relationship.
  • You’d rather own a number than manage a pipeline of meetings that go nowhere.
  • You want to be in a room with the team. This is a small group doing early-stage work, and that goes better in person.

Bonus

  • Experience in developer tools, marketing tools, or anything sold to practitioners.
  • You’ve worked with AI agents or LLM tooling seriously enough to have opinions about where they’re genuinely useful.
  • An existing network in marketing, SEO, or the AI tooling space.
  • You’ve run an affiliate or referral programme.

What we offer

  • A partnerships function to build from scratch, and the authority to run it
  • Direct line to the Head of Letaido — small team, few layers, quick decisions
  • The data and tooling of a fifteen-year-old SEO company behind an early-stage product
  • Daily use of the thing you’re marketing, and a direct line to the people building it
  • Annual company retreat (usually skiing)
  • Conference and learning budget
  • A properly equipped office, and lunch on us
