National Sales Director
About the Role
We are hiring a National Sales Director to join our growing and evolving company. We are looking for an experienced freight sales leader to co-build aifleet’s Sales organization from scratch. In this role, you will be responsible for building the contract freight side of the business (we currently work nearly exclusively in the spot market).
Responsibilities
- Continue to develop our Sales strategy and targets, in alignment with aifleet leadership and business need; adapt the strategy as appropriate, based on evolving business need
- Build and leverage relationships with shippers to run the end to end contract sales process
- Co-build / iterate on our sales processes and implement tech systems to support sustainable and scalable growth
- Ensure our operations and tech teams are set up for success as we introduce and grow our contract business
- Continue to build our brand as a best in class fleet across the industry
Who (we think) You Are

- 5+ years of experience in a freight sales role, 2+ in leadership roles
- Experience designing and building out sales processes, ideally in a fast-evolving context at a large carrier trucking company
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience building out or managing a high-growth, fast-evolving sales team
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
