IT Engineering Intern

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled IT/MIS Intern to join our Information Technology team. The ideal candidate will be a student currently enrolled in a relevant program, possessing a basic understanding of operating systems, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in IT infrastructure maintenance. This internship offers hands-on experience in IT equipment management, network system maintenance, user support troubleshooting, and resource management, providing a valuable opportunity to gain comprehensive MIS-related experience in a professional environment.

Responsibilities 

1. Assist with equipment maintenance and management, sometimes using Powershell for Windows or Terminal for macOS.
2. Assist in network system maintenance through monitoring and network security updates.
3. Manage and support basic operations of MIS resources and system access requests.
4. Provide user support for hardware, software, network or resource access requests; and manage IT related documents and user guides.
5. [Preferred] Contribute to technical projects by helping maintain and enhance internal system using Python, Django, and JavaScript.

Requirements 

1. Currently enrolled in a college or master's program, majoring in Information Management, Information Technology, or related fields.
2. Basic understanding of macOS and Windows operating systems to solve daily IT operations.
3. Basic understanding of network system maintenance.
4. [Preferred] Basic programming skills as Python, JavaScript, and Django framework.
5. Good communication skills in Chinese and English (both verbal and written).
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
