SME Lead – Commercial Lending & Structured Finance Servicing/Syndication

United States

Position Summary

The SME Lead – Commercial Lending & Structured Finance Servicing/Syndication serves as AIO Logic's senior subject matter expert on commercial loan servicing and structured finance transaction administration during client implementations, onboarding, and post-launch adoption. This role operates at the intersection of client delivery, lending domain expertise, and platform enablement, helping translate real-world servicing and syndication practices into scalable system configurations, workflows, and successful implementation outcomes.

This individual acts as a trusted advisor to clients and a strategic partner to Product, Technology, and Client Success teams, ensuring agent bank operations, participant reporting, waterfall and allocation logic, and structured finance deal mechanics are accurately reflected in platform behavior and workflow design.

Why This Role Exists

AIO Logic delivers automation and AI-powered workflow solutions to financial institutions — including banks, private debt funds, and specialty finance lenders — whose portfolios often involve syndicated facilities, participations, and structured finance transactions. This role exists to make sure the platform's servicing and syndication workflows hold up under scrutiny from experienced practitioners, so clients can trust the system with complex, multi-party loan administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead commercial lending / structured finance servicing and syndication subject matter expert during client onboarding, implementation, and early-stage adoption.
  • Translate client servicing processes, credit structures, participant/agent reporting requirements, and syndication mechanics into system configurations, business rules, and implementation guidance.
  • Act as a connective partner between client stakeholders and AIO Logic's Product, Technology, and Client Success teams to ensure business needs are accurately reflected in platform behavior and workflow design.
  • Lead client discovery and working sessions to validate requirements, clarify current-state and future-state servicing processes, and guide configuration decisions rooted in sound structured finance operating practices.
  • Support implementation teams in mapping workflows related to agent bank operations, participant reporting, waterfall and allocation calculations, and syndicated loan administration.
  • Lead client training and support ongoing adoption of platform functionality, workflow tools, automation capabilities, and operating best practices.
  • Partner with Product and Technology teams to validate configurations, review business logic, troubleshoot issues, and improve implementation quality and client experience.
  • Identify process improvement and system optimization opportunities for clients, including standardization, control enhancements, and increased automation.
  • Monitor client usage, satisfaction, and post-implementation effectiveness to identify adoption gaps, training needs, workflow misalignment, or enhancement opportunities.
  • Document business requirements, configuration decisions, process assumptions, and implementation insights clearly for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute reusable implementation guidance, best practices, and feedback on recurring client needs to help improve AIO Logic's delivery methodology and product roadmap.

Qualifications

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial loan servicing, structured finance transaction administration, syndicated loan mechanics, or implementation-related roles within financial services or fintech.
  • Strong working knowledge of syndicated loan structures, agent bank operations, participant reporting, waterfall and allocation calculations, and related operational risk considerations.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business processes and operational requirements into system configurations, workflows, business rules, or implementation decisions.
  • Experience participating in or leading client implementations, onboarding initiatives, process mapping, or system adoption efforts.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex operational concepts into clear actions and decisions.
  • Strong facilitation, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive clarity, surface risks, and manage multiple priorities in a client-facing environment.
  • Sound judgment and credibility when advising clients on workflow design, operational controls, system optimization, and adoption strategy.

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with loan servicing or management platforms such as LoanIQ, ACBS, FIS, or nCino.
  • Experience with distressed, non-accrual, or PIK loan handling within a syndicated or structured finance context.
  • Experience supporting implementations involving participant reporting, automation, or configurable servicing workflows.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams in a software or platform environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Operations, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
