SME Lead - Borrowing Base and Collateral Management
Position Summary
The SME Lead – Borrowing Base Collateral Management serves as AIO Logic's senior asset-based lending subject matter expert during client implementations, onboarding, configuration, training, and post-launch adoption. This role operates at the intersection of client delivery, lending domain expertise, and platform enablement, helping translate real-world ABL lending practices into scalable system configurations, workflows, and successful implementation outcomes.
This individual acts as a trusted advisor to clients and a strategic partner to Product, Technology, and Client Success teams, ensuring client requirements are interpreted accurately, implementation decisions reflect sound ABL operating practices, and clients are equipped to adopt AIO Logic's platform effectively across onboarding, servicing, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement.

AIO Logic delivers automation and AI-powered workflow solutions to financial institutions across the full loan lifecycle, including asset-based lending. This role exists to make sure the platform's collateral monitoring, borrowing base administration, and exceptions management workflows reflect sound ABL operating practice, so clients can trust the system across onboarding, servicing, and ongoing portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead asset-based lending subject matter expert during client onboarding, implementation, and early-stage adoption to support successful delivery outcomes.
- Translate client requirements, operating processes, credit structures, reporting needs, and servicing workflows into system configurations, business rules, and implementation guidance.
- Act as a connective partner between client stakeholders and AIO Logic's Product, Technology, and Client Success teams to ensure business needs are accurately reflected in platform behavior and workflow design.
- Lead client discovery and working sessions to validate requirements, clarify current-state and future-state processes, and guide configuration decisions rooted in sound ABL operational practices.
- Support implementation teams in mapping lender workflows related to collateral monitoring, borrowing base administration, exceptions management, loan servicing, and operational controls.
- Lead client training and support ongoing adoption of platform functionality, workflow tools, automation capabilities, and operating best practices.
- Partner with Product and Technology teams to validate configurations, review business logic, troubleshoot issues, and improve implementation quality and client experience.
- Identify process improvement and system optimization opportunities for clients, including standardization, control enhancements, and increased automation.
- Monitor client usage, satisfaction, and post-implementation effectiveness to identify adoption gaps, training needs, workflow misalignment, or enhancement opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by bringing credibility, judgment, and practical recommendations related to ABL operations, process design, and continuous improvement.
- Document business requirements, configuration decisions, process assumptions, and implementation insights clearly for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute reusable implementation guidance, best practices, and feedback on recurring client needs to help improve AIO Logic's delivery methodology and product roadmap.
Qualifications
Required
- 7+ years of experience in asset-based lending, commercial lending operations, collateral monitoring, portfolio management, loan servicing, underwriting support, or implementation-related roles within financial services or fintech.
- Strong working knowledge of asset-based lending structures, borrower reporting, borrowing base calculations, collateral controls, servicing workflows, and related operational risk considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business processes and operational requirements into system configurations, workflows, business rules, or implementation decisions.
- Experience participating in or leading client implementations, onboarding initiatives, process mapping, or system adoption efforts.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex operational concepts into clear actions and decisions.
- Strong facilitation, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive clarity, surface risks, and manage multiple priorities in a client-facing environment.
- Sound judgment and credibility when advising clients on workflow design, operational controls, system optimization, and adoption strategy.
Preferred
- Experience with commercial lending technology, loan management systems, servicing platforms, workflow tools, or fintech SaaS products.
- Experience supporting implementations involving collateral monitoring, borrowing base automation, exceptions handling, or configurable servicing workflows.
- Familiarity with automation-first operating models, workflow design, rules-based configuration, or process standardization initiatives.
- Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams in a software or platform environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Operations, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
