Market Analytics and Finance Intern

Berkeley, CA

At Aircapture we’re creating and scaling a circular carbon economy to solve what we believe to be our lifetime's most pressing challenge: the climate crisis. We supply commercial and industrial customers with clean CO2 captured from our atmosphere to radically improve the environment, our economy, and our lives. We value building a team of people who represent diverse backgrounds–be it thought, education, gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation–to reach our goals. Thank you for considering us.

The Direct Air Capture (DAC) and Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) are critical for climate resilience, and Aircapture is a trailblazer in the field. You will play a crucial role in creating a structure around our understanding of the market and competitive landscape for the industrial CO2 market, direct air capture, and the global sequestration market. You will create internal knowledge management resources and processes around our strategic and financial thought leadership and populate a knowledge management platform.

If you are excited to have a major impact at a groundbreaking climate technology startup, this is the role for you!

This is a full time, Summer opportunity at our research and development facility in Berkeley, California.

Pay rate: $30 per hour, plus up to $400 in travel reimbursement for those relocating for the Summer from outside of the Bay Area.

  • Strong attention to detail, necessary to ensure accuracy in reports and recommendations
  • Strong technology skills to be able to display complex stories in data and graphics, such as Excel and PowerPoint
