Marketing & Communications Manager

New Britain, Pennsylvania, United States

About AIRCO

AIRCO™ develops advanced technologies for energy security and global resiliency. The company makes drop-in e-fuels that can power transportation across air, land, sea and space. Its modular MAD Fuel System™ combines the company's proprietary catalysts, compact hardware, and locally available power to produce fuels to spec wherever they’re needed, turning distributed energy into ready-to-use fuel.

Led by co-founder and CEO Gregory Constantine (a 2026 EY Entrepreneur of the Year), the company has been awarded government contracts, including from the U.S. Department of War, NASA and the Department of Energy (DoE), and has investment and commercial partners with groups such as In-Q-Tel, GE Aerospace, Toyota Ventures, Virgin Atlantic, JetBlue and Alaska Airlines among others.

The Position

We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team. This person will execute AIRCO's day-to-day brand communications across social media, PR, content, events and brand activations.

You will work from established priorities and direction, turning technical milestones, company news and ideas into clear, engaging content and experiences. You should understand how modern communications channels work, be comfortable creating assets yourself, and know when to use AI and other tools to move from idea to usable content quickly.

This is not a marketing strategy role. We are looking for someone who is highly coachable, takes direction well, executes with pace and quality, and is confident presenting their work and recommendations.

This role reports to the CEO with a dotted line to the fractional CMO. This role is in person 3 days a week, at our site in New Britain, Pennsylvania

What you get to do

  • Execute brand communications across LinkedIn, Instagram, PR, company channels and other relevant platforms, building channel and communications plans from established priorities.
  • Create high-quality brand content and assets quickly, including social posts, presentations, simple graphics, short-form video, written content and other marketing materials, using AI and modern creative tools where appropriate.
  • Turn company, product and technical milestones into clear and engaging external content, partnering with internal subject-matter experts to gather the information needed.
  • Plan and execute events, trade shows, site experiences and brand activations, including creative concepts, vendors, materials, logistics and onsite delivery.
  • Support PR and earned-media activity by preparing announcements, media materials, executive content and other communications assets in partnership with internal and external specialists.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, manage multiple workstreams and ensure content and activations are delivered accurately, consistently and on time.

What you bring to AIRCO

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in brand marketing, communications, social media, PR, content or an adjacent marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of modern brand communications and how platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram are used differently to build awareness and engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to create polished marketing assets and content yourself, rather than relying entirely on agencies or designers.
  • Experience executing communications plans, social plans, events or brand activations from direction through delivery.
  • Strong writing, presentation and visual judgment, with the ability to present work clearly and incorporate feedback quickly.
  • Highly organized, responsive and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve.
  • Strong proficiency with modern marketing and creative tools, including AI-enabled content creation tools and presentation/design software.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in consumer products, fashion, lifestyle, hospitality, or another brand-led physical-product environment.
  • Experience working in a startup, growth-stage company or small marketing team where you personally executed across multiple channels.
  • Experience supporting trade shows, experiential marketing or large-scale brand activations.
  • A technical, engineering or science-related degree followed by a career in marketing or communications.
  • Experience translating technical or complex subject matter into accessible content.
