Wage:                $24.00/hour, $26/hour once completed training requirements are met 
Hours of Work: Full-Time (35-40 hours per week)
Location:           Whitehorse, Yukon

Role Summary:

We are looking for an Aircraft Grooming Lead! The ideal candidate will be someone with previous experience leading a team in a janitorial setting and who demonstrates strong leadership skills that promote teamwork and collaboration. The successful candidate must be able to work afternoons, evenings, and split shifts, and will be required to complete AVOP and ROC certification within an established timeline. This role will join our existing team of Leads within the department, and is well-suited for an individual who enjoys fostering teamwork and contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, pre-plan and communicate Cabin Services operations for flights
  • Conduct or ensure flight supplies are ready and loaded/unloaded properly
  • Occupy, assign and coordinate duties to your team
  • Conduct team briefings and liaise with other relevant departments
  • Assist with audits and process optimization
  • Ensure checklists are completed prior to filing
  • Clean all areas inside the aircraft
  • Stock the aircraft with appropriate inventory
  • Load and unload meal carriers and commissary carts

Must haves:

  • Have a valid Drivers License 
  • Physically fit and able to life up to 70 pounds
  • Minimum 1-year experience or equivalent leadership experience
  • Able to work in confined/restricted spaces for extended periods of time
  • A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that’s through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
  • Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada

Nice to haves:

  • Previous cleaning experience 
  • Pervious aviation experience
