Hours of Work: Full-Time (35-40 hours per week)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all products are displayed correctly and the food labelling follows the Canadian Consumer Packaging and Labeling Act
- Responsible of ordering of supplies and monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking to minimize outages and maximize sales opportunities
- Evaluate sales data, generate reports, and update records to monitor product performance and sales trends, offering insight for inventory management decisions
- Monitors department emails, ensuring that supply orders or messages are answered promptly
- Take customers' orders
- Receive payment for food purchased
- Ensures that the counter staff maintains cleanliness and organization of the counter, display cases, and dining area
- Maintain equipment, send appropriate notifications when repairs are needed through the internal reporting system
- Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food
- Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties
- Ensure daily meal production follows daily specifications and quantities, and reduces food waste
- Conduct all interactions in a positive, customer-service-focused approach when helping customers and/or communicating with fellow team members
- Provide encouragement and guidance to fellow staff members
Qualifications/Conditions of Employment
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract and the incumbent must have their own vehicle for commuting.
- Three years if experience in the hospitality industry or knowledge of the foodservice operations.
- Food Safe Level 1 certificate an asset
- Must be able to obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and submit the required documents within a specified timeline.
- Must be physically fit (able to bend, kneel, crawl, stoop, climb, and lift up to 70 pounds repetitively)
- Previous leadership experience an asset
- Must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or show proof of right to work in Canada
