Job Description:
This is a temporary full-time position. In this role you will act as the liaison of the Human Resources department to all departments at Airspace. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a proactive self-starter, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and deliver precision and accuracy with a keen eye for detail to thrive in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process, including initiating background checks, preparing offer letters, and coordinating with hiring managers and IT to ensure a seamless experience for new employees.
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions as needed to provide a comprehensive introduction to company policies, culture, and expectations.
- Accurately enter new employee information into the HRIS and process all necessary new hire documents, including benefits enrollment and payroll setup.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and company records across all HRIS platforms.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s benefits program and serve as a knowledgeable resource for employees seeking assistance or clarification.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including mandated training requirements and reporting obligations.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance on workplace policies and escalating concerns to HR leadership as needed.
- Facilitating initiatives that promote employee inclusivity and foster a sense of belonging within the team.
- Manage the off-boarding process, including drafting exit documentation, coordinating final payroll processing, and ensuring all necessary offboarding tasks are completed.
- Drafting HR compliant documents as requested by the leadership team.
- Assist with setting up and managing payroll tax accounts for various states and unemployment insurance requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with state-mandated training programs.
- Tasks related to internal employee appreciation incentives.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources related job functions.
- Experience with G-Suite products.
- 2+ years of HRIS experience (InfoTech is a plus).
- 2+ years of compliance and/or benefits administration.
- Knowledge of Malaysian wage and labor laws.
Compensation:
- Pay scale: 45 - 47K MYR
