Airtable is the no-code app platform that empowers people closest to the work to accelerate their most critical business processes. More than 500,000 organizations, including 80% of the Fortune 100, rely on Airtable to transform how work gets done.

As a full stack engineer at Airtable, you will have the opportunity to work with customers to deeply understand their needs and workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across product management, design, research and data science to create innovative new features that enable our customers to do their best work. You will be responsible for owning and executing the end-to-end implementation of these new features that will contribute to making our toolkit even more powerful and successful.

We currently have openings on:

Teams & Solutions:

  • The AI Builder Team's (Fullstack, SF/NYC) mission is to leverage generative AI to empower Airtable users to effortlessly create powerful applications that are tailored to their use cases. The team recently launched Cobuilder, which assists users in creating new apps from scratch. Now, they're developing a suite of AI tools to help users customize and expand their apps. These tools will assist users throughout their building journey – from generating relevant dashboards based on user data, to adding new workflows to existing apps.
  • The Monetization Team (Fullstack, SF) is responsible for Airtable's billing and pricing platform. The team works on new frameworks to bill customers for their Airtable usage in a way that optimizes the amount charged and the value received by our customers. Recent projects include our expansion of the payment methods we offer, developing usage-based billing frameworks to charge for our new AI features, and optimizing our customer conversion funnel via experiments.
  • The Engagement Team (Fullstack/BE, SF) is enabling users to collaborate more efficiently using Airtable. The team is responsible for building and improving features such as app sharing, user permissions, commenting and notifications. Additionally, the team is currently focused on expanding the use cases customers can leverage Airtable for by providing new ways to work with external collaborators. From a technical perspective, the team owns both the core components of the collaboration user experience and complex backend systems, such as our advanced permissions framework.

Enterprise:

  • The Large Deployments Team's (Fullstack, SF/ATX/NYC) mission is to accelerate organizational value for the largest customers, with seamless onboarding and confident controls. As we navigate the complexities of organizations with 100k+ employees, we are redefining how users and content are optimally provisioned. For example, our current projects cover license management, user groups, and data governance controls.
  • The Sync and Integrations Team (BE, SF/NYC) empowers large enterprise customers to build interconnected, automated, and scalable applications by enabling seamless data synchronization for both internal and external sources. Our mission encompasses developing mechanisms to sync data across Airtable applications, creating systems for cross-application entity referencing, and optimizing synchronization efficiency. We are also building a robust integration platform with a public-facing SDK and an execution engine for managing sync jobs. Our work ensures that Airtable workflows integrate effortlessly with other systems, enhancing organizational efficiency and value.

Please note: while we employ a hybrid working model at Airtable (flexible in working from the office or elsewhere), we are looking to hire candidates at this level that are based in San Francisco/New York/Austin who are open to coming into the office at least ~2-3 times/week for team collaboration.

  • Work at all levels of the stack, from AWS, Node.js, and SQL to React, HTML. and CSS to build and maintain end to end products on Airtable.
  • Partner with product managers, designers, and data scientists to understand the needs of potential users and build a product that unlocks their potential.

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
