New York City, NY; San Francisco, CA

Airtable is the no-code app platform that empowers people closest to the work to accelerate their most critical business processes. More than 500,000 organizations, including 80% of the Fortune 100, rely on Airtable to transform how work gets done.

Airtable is on a mission to democratize software creation. Our platform is loved by people at more than 500,000 organizations, including 80% of the Fortune 100, because they can design and build powerful applications (without knowing how to code) that perfectly fit their needs and workflows. We believe that the future of software development is increasingly intelligent and interconnected, and we are looking for a visionary Product Manager to lead the charge in infusing AI, automation, and advanced integration capabilities deep into the core of the Airtable platform.

As the Product Manager for our Automation Platform, you will be responsible for crafting the vision, strategy, and roadmap to empower our users to build even smarter, more efficient, and seamlessly integrated applications. You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technologies, powerful automation tools, and a rich ecosystem of integrations, fundamentally transforming how work gets done on Airtable (and beyond). This role requires a deep understanding of user needs in the context of AI-driven productivity, a passion for building intuitive and powerful platform capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with world-class engineering, design, research, and go-to-market teams.

What you'll do

  • Create 10x AI-Powered Solutions: Pioneer revolutionary intelligent workflows and automations (think about agents and goals, not triggers) that fundamentally transform how organizations operate. Leverage cutting-edge AI to craft experiences that dramatically outperform traditional approaches, setting new standards for what's possible in workflow automation and intelligent data processing.
  • Drive with a GM Mentality from Vision to Market: Own the complete AI, automation, and integration strategy with full accountability for business outcomes. Lead end-to-end success by directing how these technologies create transformative value for customers and drive Airtable's growth. Develop compelling go-to-market strategies that communicate your innovations' value, working closely with marketing and sales to ensure successful adoption. You'll connect every technical decision directly to measurable outcomes, leveraging AI tools yourself to accelerate processes and create competitive differentiation in the market.
  • Immerse Yourself with Customers & Partners: Engage directly with users to develop firsthand insights into their automation challenges. Conduct field research, run co-creation sessions, and build deep relationships that inform your product decisions and ensure solutions address real market needs.
  • Lead Technical Exploration: Build rapid prototypes and experimental features to validate new AI concepts before full development. Balance visionary thinking with pragmatic execution by gathering early user feedback, measuring impact, and iterating quickly to bring transformative capabilities to market.
  • Build Platform & Ecosystem Capabilities: Design AI and automation capabilities that are powerful, extensible, and integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems. Create opportunities for third-party developers to extend your intelligent workflow foundations while ensuring the overall health of the Airtable ecosystem.

Who you are

  • Experienced Product Leader: 8+ years of product management experience, with a significant portion focused on AI/ML-powered products, automation platforms, integration services, or developer platforms within a SaaS environment. Familiarity with Airtable, low-code/no-code platforms, and productivity tools is highly preferred.
  • AI & Automation Enthusiast: Deep understanding of AI/ML and LLMs, and their practical applications. Passionate about the potential of automation and intelligent systems to transform how people work.
  • Technically Astute: Solid grasp of software development processes, API design, system architecture, and the technical underpinnings of AI/ML systems and integration technologies. Ability to engage in deep technical discussions with engineers and researchers.
  • Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to develop and articulate a clear product strategy, make tough prioritization decisions, and translate complex problems into actionable plans.
  • User-Obsessed: A genuine empathy for users and a commitment to building products that are not only powerful but also intuitive and delightful to use.
  • Exceptional Communicator & Collaborator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Data-Driven & Analytical: Strong analytical skills with experience in A/B testing, data analysis, and using data to inform product decisions and measure impact.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive, self-starter mentality with a track record of taking ownership, navigating ambiguity, and delivering impactful results in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience building or working with agent-based AI systems.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and iPaaS solutions.
  • Proven success in launching 0->1 products or significant new product areas.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
