Senior Social Media Manager

Remote - US

Airtable is the no-code app platform that empowers people closest to the work to accelerate their most critical business processes. More than 500,000 organizations, including 80% of the Fortune 100, rely on Airtable to transform how work gets done.

We're looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to architect Airtable's social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and X, and build out the program with real intention. This role calls for someone who can build an overarching social strategy with distinct, channel-specific approaches that reflect how audiences actually behave on each platform. You're inheriting a program with momentum, and your job is to take it further.

The ideal candidate thinks like a journalist with a beat, is proactive in their social media approach, and is a self starter and does their best work without much direction. You’ll also utilize AI to optimize workflows and get strong outputs from them.

You'll work closely with Brand, PMM, Content, and Events to keep social connected to everything happening at Airtable -- product launches, campaigns, live events, and cultural moments.

What you'll do

Strategy Architecture

  • Design and own an overarching social media strategy with a clear point of view, and develop channel-specific approaches that reflect the distinct dynamics of LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging platforms.
  • Define the strategic framework that governs content priorities, platform investment, voice, and cadence across channels and evolve it as the landscape shifts.
  • Build and iterate on AI-powered workflows that reduce time spent on repetitive tasks, freeing up more bandwidth for high-leverage strategic and creative work.
  • Treat AI fluency as a strategic advantage, staying current on how the tools themselves are evolving and factoring that into how Airtable shows up in the AI conversation on social.
  • Write platform-native copy that earns engagement and sounds like a human wrote it.
  • Stay ahead of AI and tech trends not as a passive observer, but as someone who synthesizes what's happening and translates it into differentiated, timely social narratives.
  • Finds insights from analytics, emerging trends, or from internal teams and turn them into always-on content pillars on social.
  • Identify and monitor KPIs and success metrics per platform, and use them to sharpen strategy over time.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Events and agency partners to build cohesive narratives that are adapted for each channel.

Execution & Content Creation

  • Proactively develop and refine agentic AI workflows to streamline the social workstream. Build and manage agents that assist with content research, drafting, performance monitoring, and more.
  • Plan, create, schedule, and publish high-quality content (copy, video, images, stories, reels) across all social channels, maintaining brand voice while tailoring to platform context.
  • Own the social content calendar end-to-end, ensuring posts are timely, relevant, and on-brand.
  • Exceptional copywriter with high attention to detail.
  • Show up on camera as a confident, natural talent and a representative of Airtable— whether for short-form video, demos, commentary, or thought leadership content.
  • Engage actively with followers, respond to comments and DMs, and moderate conversations to build community and brand trust.
  • Collaborate with performance marketing on paid social media to support traffic and conversion goals.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics weekly and monthly.
  • Use data to drive ongoing content optimization and strategic refinement.
  • A/B test content formats, posting times, and engagement tactics to improve performance.

Who you are

  • 5–7 years of professional experience in social media marketing, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth B2B or tech environment.
  • A proven strategy builder — you've developed overarching social strategies with differentiated, channel-specific approaches, not just managed a content calendar.
  • A genuine student of your space: you track industry shifts, competitors, and cultural moments the way a journalist covers a beat — proactively, consistently, and with a point of view.
  • Deeply curious about and experimental with AI. You not only follow what's happening, but are building and experimenting constantly, and incorporate AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Descript) into your workflow in ways that sharpen your output.
  • Comfortable and confident on camera — you can present ideas, narrate content, or be the face of a campaign without needing a production team to make it work.
  • Strong copywriting, visual storytelling, and content production skills across formats.
  • Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later) and analytics platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Insights, Google Analytics).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple workstreams without losing strategic clarity.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
