Associate Enterprise Resilience Director

The Associate Enterprise Resilience Director’s role is to develop and drive a mature level of resilience across AirTrunk through effective stakeholder collaboration, documentation, training and exercising. This role will also be responsible for developing a corporate insurance strategy and approach.
This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in enhancing and embedding proactive resilience and insurance planning to support a rapidly growing business. The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with business leaders to facilitate planning efforts. This role reports to the Head of Risk and Resilience.
Your Day to Day
- Develop, manage and mentor high performing teams.
- Ensure the team is scalable by leveraging third party consultants and contractors.
- Identify, develop and implement strategies to ensure we remain a leader in all markets.
- Own, uplift and maintain a business resilience framework and tools that are suitable for a critical infrastructure business
- Develop, maintain and control suite of business resilience documents and tools, ensuring that they are current, compliant and aligned with industry best practice
- Horizon-scan and leverage developments in innovation and technology to continuously improve our resilience tools and capability
- Coordinate resilience activities across various business units while ensuring a coherent and integrated approach
- Establish and manage resilience working group or governance forums to promote accountability and transparency
- Establish, lead, plan and execute program of emergency, business continuity and crisis scenario drills and exercises
- Establish and maintain appropriate program of resilience training
- Manage engagements with external service providers, including acting as interface with AirTrunk business stakeholders and overseeing service performance
- Maintain enterprise resilience risk and control profile, and prepare periodic Executive and Board reports
- Set and manage KPI and SLA’s for our vendors.
- Travel to sites, offices, projects both domestically and internationally as required.
Minimum requirements:
- Strong and effective communicator,
- Strong communicator and ability to confidently negotiate with internal and external stakeholders on a professional level.
- Strong and effectively collaborator with internal and external teams and stakeholders,
- Managed and mentored high performing teams, minimum of 5 years,
- Well organised and effective manager,
- Flexible and organised to manage workload to meet deadlines
- Self-starter, independent and able to work autonomously.
- Comfortable operating in an agile and adaptive manner within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Able to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident and effective communicator who can translate theoretical concepts into simple and practical terms
- Excellent written skills with proven ability to produce high quality plan documentation and reports
Preferred requirements:
- 8 to 10 years of experience in organisational resilience, business continuity management or crisis management
- Demonstrated ability in developing resilience strategy and processes
- Ability to scan industry and beyond for potential new threats and opportunities that may inform the resilience strategy
- Experience or familiarity with ISO22301 (Business Continuity Management)
- Experience driving successful risk transformations in the technology or infrastructure sectors across the APJ region is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working in Asia-Pacific including Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Korea, and Australia.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
