A Snapshot
As the Manager, Finance, you will report to the Associate Director, Finance, you will work closely with the rest of the finance team as well as other departments across the business, making an impact in a number of ways:
- Pivotal member of a lean and efficient finance team, capable of supporting the growth of a dynamic business whilst maintaining appropriate financial governance and controls
- Be instrumental in helping AirTrunk defining leading practice and driving out key improvements through simplification and standardisation
- As a growth position within a dynamic and entrepreneurial business, the general nature and level of work within this role is designed to progress as opportunities arise
Your Day to Day
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing
- Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of all financial records and reporting
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Identify and lead key finance projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks to secure optimal financing services
- Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Explore and implement technological solutions to streamline financial processes
Requirements
- Seasoned Finance professional with experience in finance operations and accounting. Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing processes is essential.
- Proactive, positive and mature team player with strong interpersonal skills who can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Possess excellent organisation skills, able to work flexibly to lead projects and demonstrate critical thinking to solve problems, as well as a willingness to roll up one's sleeves
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in construction industry would be advantageous
