A Snapshot
At AirTrunk, we’ve all come together to deliver Data Centres that meet and grow with the needs of our large cloud, content and enterprise customers.
Water management is a key pillar of our sustainability commitments. We design and operate our Data Centers to source water responsibly, reduce reliance on potable water where appropriate, limit usage in water-stressed areas and improve water productivity to support energy, carbon and community outcomes. Through strong water stewardship, we seek to balance business growth with catchment-level resilience, responsible resource use and measurable sustainability impact.
In this leadership role, you will define and lead AirTrunk’s water strategy across the portfolio, managing a team of managers to deliver sustainable, commercially robust and operationally resilient water outcomes.
You will make your mark in a number of ways:
- Set and own the regional water strategy for Data Center sites, ensuring scalable, sustainable and resilient water supply solutions across existing and future markets.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of managers responsible for utility connections, upgrades, alternative supply options, water infrastructure delivery and site-level optimisation.
- Oversee portfolio-wide assessment of water stress, supply risk and regulatory conditions, translating insights into long-term strategic plans and investment priorities.
- Build executive-level partnerships with utilities, authorities, customers and solution providers to unlock recycled, industrial and alternative water sourcing opportunities.
- Define the roadmap to water positivity, including on-site and off-site water solutions, reuse strategies, discharge optimisation and measurable sustainability outcomes.
- Develop and implement a water stewardship framework that aligns site-level water decisions with regional sustainability objectives, local catchment conditions, stakeholder expectations and long-term operational resilience.
- Establish governance, performance metrics and reporting cadence for water usage, metering, efficiency, risk management and delivery performance across the portfolio.
- Influence design, site selection, development, commercial and operations decisions to ensure water strategy is embedded into major business and customer commitments.
