Key Responsibilities:
- Secure Backend System Development: Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable backend systems and APIs leveraging modern frameworks and technologies (Python, Node.js, Go).
- Cross-team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with security engineers, AI researchers, and product teams to integrate AI-driven features securely and efficiently.
- Robust Security Implementation: Implement robust security controls such as authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure data handling.
- AI Model Integration: Integrate and optimize diverse AI models (e.g., NLP models like ChatGPT, vision models, and multimodal AI) into backend services.
- Performance and Scalability Optimization: Ensure backend systems are performant, reliable, and scalable, addressing latency, availability, and throughput requirements.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience building and maintaining back-end systems in production
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Go.
- Demonstrable experience building secure backend systems, APIs, and microservices.
- Strong understanding of backend security best practices, including authentication methods (OAuth, JWT), encryption, and secure API development.
- Familiarity with backend security threats (SQL injection, privilege escalation, DDoS) and effective mitigation strategies.
- Hands-on experience integrating and optimizing AI models (e.g., NLP, vision, multimodal systems) within backend services.
- Strong knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL, and secure data management.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and secure deployment practices, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders about complex security and AI topics.
- Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
