Position Summary

The Optimization Manager is responsible for evaluating, designing, and implementing workflow improvements across clinical and operational departments within Aizer Health. This role focuses on optimizing processes, leveraging software and technology effectively, and ensuring that teams are working efficiently to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall organizational performance. The Optimization Manager will analyze workflows and utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to assess performance metrics, identify trends that enhance operational efficiency, and drive positive change. The Optimization Manager will collaborate with leadership, providers, and staff to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and oversee change implementation. This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, the ability to influence others, and a passion for continuous learning and innovation, always seeking opportunities to explore emerging technologies and drive improvements in a dynamic environment.

 

Department Hours

  • Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm.
  • Occasional flexibility outside these hours, as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with clinical, operational, and administrative teams to implement meaningful changes that optimize efficiency, improve service delivery, and reduce operational costs.
  • Lead workgroups focused on operational efficiency and operational performance improvement, driving consensus around process improvement and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members and department leads on new processes and best practices to ensure smooth adoption and effective implementation.

Workflow Optimization & Process Improvement

  • Assess current workflows within clinical and administrative departments to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies.
  • Develop and implement streamlined processes and automation that enhance productivity and reduce redundancies, ensuring coordination and consolidation across departments, when appropriate to improve operational efficiency.

Software, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Leverage data analytics tools to track, measure, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Build a team who will develop and utilize business intelligence dashboards to streamline reporting and provide actionable insights to leadership to enhance decision-making.
  • Work in conjunction with Software Application Manager to analyze the use of our software systems to ensure maximum utilization and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Aizer’s MSP and outside software vendors (such as phone system, STAT, ) to address system inefficiencies and implement necessary upgrades.

Performance Measurement, Data Utilization & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of the implemented changes and ensure sustainability of efficiency improvements.
  • Produce monthly progress reports with data-backed recommendations.

  • Analyze operational data trends and proactively address inefficiencies.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, data analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, with a proven track record of process improvement, or workflow optimization.

  • Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Excel) for reporting and visualization.
  • Ability to analyze workflow data, create reports, and make data-driven.
  • Understanding of business intelligence and its application in healthcare performance.
  • Excellent communication and training skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or community health setting preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, with a proven track record of process improvement, or workflow optimization.

 

Pay & Benefits

  • Compensation: Starting at $100,000 per annual, commensurate with experience
