Education and Channel Manager

As an Education Sales Manager, Direct and Channel, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our education and channel sales. The Education (K-12) and Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for two key areas: direct sales within the K-12 education sector and the management of our channel sales initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate the unique needs of the education market while also building and maintaining strong relationships with our channel partners.
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Education (K-12) Sales
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting the K-12 education market.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers in school districts, educational institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Present and demonstrate our insurtech solutions to schools and districts, highlighting the benefits for their specific needs.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor messaging and materials for the education sector.
Channel Sales Management - Education Partners
- Oversee the development and execution of a national channel sales strategy to drive education sales.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, ensuring they are aligned with our business goals.
- Manage relationships with existing channel partners, providing them with the support and resources needed to drive education sales.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint business plans and marketing strategies.
- Monitor and analyze channel performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
- Exceed assigned revenue targets and KPIs on a consistent basis.
- Share feedback with Executive and Sales/Partnerships team to continue to refine and improve processes.
WHAT MAKES YOU QUALIFIED
- Minimum five years of sales experience, with a proven track record in the education sector and/or channel sales, startup experience a plus.
- Deep understanding of the K-12 education market and its unique challenges.
- Experience managing national channel sales, with strong partner relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of the education market, including an understanding of district purchasing processes.
- Self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM software.
- All around team player, fast, and self-learning individual.
- Proactive and solution-forward, bias for action.
- Ability to drive forward work independently while communicating and working across functions.
The base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 with performance-based incentives including bonuses and/or commission. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
