Electrical Superintendent - Renewables

We are looking for an Electrical Superintendent with strong electrical experience to support utility-scale renewable projects including solar, BESS, and wind. In this role, you’ll lead onsite coordination, ensure work aligns with plans and specifications, support QA/QC efforts, and help keep construction activities safe, efficient, and on schedule. You’ll coordinate with EPC partners and subcontractors, support inspections and site walks, resolve field issues, and maintain clear documentation while serving as EPS’s onsite representative.
What You’ll Do
- Leading day-to-day onsite coordination with electrical subcontractors, EPC partners, and other trades on utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Overseeing electrical installation, commissioning activities, and QA/QC efforts to ensure work is completed safely and according to project specifications.
- Conducting regular site walks to monitor installation progress, identify potential issues, and help keep projects on schedule.
- Reviewing work plans, construction methods, safety procedures, and schedules for both electrical and general construction activities.
- Coordinating the delivery, staging, and tracking of electrical equipment and materials onsite.
- Supporting inspections, punch walks, mechanical completion, permit closeouts, and compliance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation related to site conditions, inspections, field decisions, and project progress.
- Identifying project risks, helping solve field challenges, and participating in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Serving as EPS’s onsite representative while building strong working relationships with clients, utilities, AHJs, EPCs, contractors, and community stakeholders.
- Supporting team development by sharing knowledge, mentoring junior field staff, and contributing to operational improvement efforts.
Who You Are
- Experienced construction professional with electrical background and familiarity with solar, BESS, or wind projects.
- Skilled at coordinating multiple trades and managing electrical scopes in a fast-paced field environment.
- Strong communicator who builds trust with EPC partners, utilities, and internal teams.
- Excellent at documenting meetings, decisions, and site changes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Adobe, and construction scheduling tools.
- Safety trained for field work (OSHA 10).
- Willing and able to travel to project sites across the United States.
- High school diploma required and additional coursework or a degree is preferred.
