We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist who brings strategic thinking, creativity, and precision to a high-impact role within our marketing and business development team. This position plays a critical role in driving growth across multiple AKS offices by leading competitive pursuits, strengthening positioning strategies, and delivering compelling, compliant proposals in the energy and infrastructure space. What You’ll Do
- Maintain sales and revenue data in the AKS infrastructure, energy, and land development pipelines.
- Work with technical staff and the marketing/business development team to track project leads and opportunities in our CRM system (Unanet).
- Developing reporting dashboards leveraged across the company with technical leaders.
- Support the coordination and preparation of proposals and marketing materials
- Coordinate conference registrations and other industry events.

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- A clear, confident communicator—written and verbal
- You have a "Do what needs to be done" mindset, taking ownership beyond assigned tasks and stepping in wherever needed to keep projects, teams, and customers supported and running smoothly.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software quickly
- A proactive team player who takes initiative and follows through
- Someone who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a quantitative discipline
Nice to Have
- Experience in a marketing, administrative, or business development support role
- Familiarity with AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) industries
- Experience with CRM systems, Adobe Creative Suite, or website content management
- Comfort coordinating events or conferences
- Basic understanding of project management tools
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a quantitive discipline
