Team Overview
The Pan-Alternatives team is responsible for developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with sophisticated investors and acts as the central point for the firm’s marketing and business development efforts.
Position Overview
Aksia is seeking an experienced professional to join our Pan-Alternatives team in a newly created Investor Relations function. This individual, together with a colleague, will support the marketing and strategic initiatives of current products and commingled offerings, maintain communication with existing clients and coordinate the launch of new products.
This position is based in Aksia’s New York office and will include regular interaction with global colleagues, clients, and prospects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary investor relations contact for existing investors and late-stage prospects
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth launch of new products
- Collaborate with investment team department heads to craft compelling marketing collateral, including presentations and due diligence materials, and ensure materials are refreshed on a regular cadence
- Oversee preparation and distribution of investor reports and board materials
- Act as an internal resource for other departments at the firm and prepare both internal and external materials to support fundraising and business development efforts
- Establish and manage processes to streamline responsibilities and establish efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in alternative investments and private markets investor relations
- Strong understanding of private market fund structures, including commingled funds, offshore vehicles, and registered products
- Natural ability to weave narratives into investor presentations and other marketing collateral
- Familiarity with due diligence processes, including preparation and completion of DDQs and data room management
- Experience managing or supporting fund launches, restructurings, or product development initiatives
- Fluid understanding of AI tools and experience using them to create efficiencies within an organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex strategies to institutional investors
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
The estimated base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $175,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Aksia provides a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor.
