
Associate Scientist II - Technology Access Program

Position Description:
We seek a highly motivated Associate Scientist II to join a dynamic team of professionals in the Technology Access team to support our company mission. In this role, you will work cross-functionally across multiple teams including R&D, Sales and Marketing to design, execute and deliver NULISA immunoassay projects as part of the Technology Access Program. An ideal candidate will have a background in immunology, neuroscience, or proteomics and bring hands-on experience in immunoassay development. The ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is highly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, conduct, and analyze single- and multi-plex NULISA immunoassay experiments to assess various biomarkers across diverse biological matrices.
- Design and optimize assay parameters including sensitivity, specificity, detectability, and precision to execute and deliver NULISA immunoassay projects.
- Conduct analysis of PCR and NGS datasets, maintain documentation, prepare summary reports and present to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
- Explore new applications for NULISA immunoassays, cultivate collaborations with KOLs, and prepare abstracts and posters for scientific conferences.
Skills & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Immunology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, or a related discipline with 1-3 years of industrial immunoassay development experience. A B.S. degree with extensive relevant industry experience may also be considered.
- Hands-on experience in executing and optimizing immunoassays such as ELISA. Experience with high-sensitivity platforms (Simoa, MSD, or Luminex) is a plus but not required.
- Hands-on experience with generating and analyzing PCR and NGS sequencing datasets is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of proteomics and biomarker research.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of emerging reagents, immunoassay technologies, biomarker discovery, assay prototyping, performance optimization, and control system design.
- Ability to disseminate and summarize scientific literature to a broad interdisciplinary audience.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000 - $120,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
