Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Assistant to join our Content Development (CD) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong willingness and ability to work with antibodies, antigens, and biological specimens, and will play a key role in supporting cross-team laboratory operations.
This position will collaborate closely with both the Content Development (CD) and Technology Access Program (TAP) teams to ensure efficient reagent management, sample tracking, and smooth coordination of assay-related workflows. The role requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive attitude in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Receive, log, and manage incoming antibodies, antigens, and biological samples from internal and external collaborators, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to handling protocols.
· Maintain and track inventory of laboratory reagents, antibodies, antigens, and consumables across CD and TAP teams, ensuring timely replenishment and alignment with project needs.
· Plan and coordinate antibody conjugation activities, following established SOPs, and collaborate with the CD and Manufacturing (MFG) teams to ensure timely execution and delivery.
· Coordinate communication between R&D, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams to ensure seamless information flow and operational efficiency.
· Contribute to additional laboratory support tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and initiative to meet evolving project timelines.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of laboratory experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years of experience.
· Experience handling biological specimens, antibodies, or antigens, with a solid understanding of laboratory safety procedures and bloodborne pathogen training.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with multiple functional teams.
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
· Experience working in ISO 13485 or GMP environments is a plus.
· Familiarity with major shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL) is a plus.
· Available to work Monday–Friday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
· Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
The hourly range for this position is $25-$30 an hour. Our hourly ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire hourly ranges but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
