
Project Manager

Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for providing project leadership to new product development and product improvement projects. The Project Manager leads cross-functional teams and takes ownership of project planning, tracking and management of all key stakeholders. Being part of the PMO team, the Project Manager will also be involved in improving processes and metrics and needs to be comfortable operating in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource needs for new product development and product improvement projects.
- Drive execution by maintaining accountability and effective project risk management.
- Form and lead cross-functional project teams.
- Take ownership of optimizing the project delivery to meet the established business objectives.
- Create required project documentation including project plans, budget worksheets, reports and executive presentations.
- Manage all relevant stakeholders by effectively communicating with the larger organization to ensure timely decision-making.
- Support quality system and infrastructure improvement efforts and corporate processes as needed.
- Coach and develop team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences with 5-10 years of professional experience in life sciences industry. Candidates with a project management certification are preferred.
- Knowledge of regulations related to In-vitro diagnostics – specifically immunoassays and related instrumentation - or medical devices is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, align objectives across various functional areas, and anticipate/manage conflict.
- Proven ability to efficiently make decisions on the allocation of required resources
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000 - $145,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
