
China Marketing Manager

We are seeking a China Marketing Manager who is passionate about marketing and science and who will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans, encompassing both traditional and digital strategies, to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth within the region. This role requires a creative and analytical thinker who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and stay ahead of industry trends in both traditional and digital marketing arenas.
This role will be based in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou or Guangzhou.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the China sales team and global marketing team to drive business in the China region.
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that leverage both traditional and digital channels to meet business objectives and targets within the region.
- Collaborate with the sales team to execute Alamar’s presence and manage logistics for regional conferences and events.
- Lead the development and execution of regional digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email marketing, social media, paid advertising, and content marketing.
- Develop and execute sales enablement tools to support the regional sales team’s needs.
- Manage the regional marketing budget for both traditional and digital initiatives, allocating resources effectively and tracking ROI for all marketing activities within the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers through digital channels and engagement tactics.
- Coordinate marketing efforts to support regional events, trade shows, and sponsorships, increasing brand visibility and generating leads.
- Oversee the development of digital marketing assets, including website content, social media posts, email newsletters, and online advertising materials for the region.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on regional marketing activities, results, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field; a scientific background is a must.
- At least 7 years of experience in a life science company; marketing experience is a must; marketing manager experience preferable.
- A deep understanding of the Chinese proteomics, neurology, cohort studies, or disease early detection market is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, with the ability to translate them into actionable plans for both traditional and digital channels.
- Fluent in both written and verbal Chinese and English (business level), with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels and deliver clear, compelling marketing messages.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams in traditional and digital marketing efforts.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions for both traditional and digital marketing initiatives.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including marketing automation, CRM systems, analytics platforms, sales enablement software, and social media management tools.
- Ability to travel up to 50% within and outside the region as needed.
