Senior Product Marketing Manager

We are looking for a smart, tenacious, and inquisitive B2B2B and B2B2C Product Marketer who can operate between product management, sales, marketing, and training to shape and drive the go-to-market strategy for PointCentral smart property technology. This role will report into PointCentral’s Head of Marketing, closely collaborating on product messaging, launch prioritization, and strategic planning.
The product marketer must be able to assess the professional residential rental market to understand the product and service landscape where our property management customers operate, as well as understand the service provider partners who deliver and support our technology platform. This individual will become an expert on PointCentral and Alarm.com products and value proposition while deeply understanding various customer and end user personas and the broader smart property tech product landscape in the residential rental market. The Product Marketing Manager will leverage this expertise to define, manage, and adapt physical and virtual product demo experiences across the company. They will also be responsible for establishing and elevating product positioning, developing content and tools for sales enablement and product launches, and driving research projects to stay on top of market needs, trends, and competition.
Responsibilities:
Product Launch and Go-to-Market Planning
- Drive the execution of go-to-market strategies for PointCentral products and new launches by leading cross-functional coordination, shaping messaging and positioning, defining target segments, and launching integrated campaigns that drive awareness, adoption and revenue growth.
- Drive cross-functional alignment to support timely and effective product launches, ensuring all stakeholder groups are informed and delivery milestones are met.
- Lead internal and external education efforts on product updates and GTM initiatives, including sales bootcamps and "what’s new" training sessions for Sales, Technical Account Management, and Customer Success, and Support teams..
Product Positioning and Messaging
- Craft compelling product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement assets aligned with customer needs and market dynamics.
- Lead the development and validation of category creation, product positioning, messaging, and competitive segmentation strategies.
- Clearly articulate the differentiated value of PointCentral’s technology to both technical and non-technical audiences. Translate product specs and amplify value/benefit messaging to customers.
Sales Enablement & Content Creation
- Own the overarching PointCentral demo experience program, which includes managing the physical demo space as well as virtual demo experiences and collaborating with the Sales team to create compelling scripts that showcase the product breadth and depth.
- Translate marketing insights and buyer intelligence into sales tools, thought leadership, and customer-facing assets that support the sales cycle.
- Create a wide range of marketing collateral including product briefs, sales playbooks, presentations, and pitch decks in partnership with the broader marketing team to enhance sales effectiveness
- Act as a subject matter expert on the PointCentral solution suite, supporting internal teams including Sales, Marketing, and Training and Enablement, with confident, accurate product knowledge.
Market, Customer, and Competitive Insights
- Conduct ongoing market and industry research to identify trends, customer needs, and whitespace opportunities; share actionable insights with internal teams.
- Formalize and lead competitive intelligence efforts, ensuring timely dissemination of insights across key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Support to synthesize voice-of-customer insights and field feedback with competitive insights that in order to inform/adapt messaging, support sales initiatives, and influence product strategy and roadmap.
- Monitor and communicate developments in the real estate industry, emerging technologies, and regulatory landscapes relevant to PointCentral.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Develop and share data-driven insights to inform product, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Track and evaluate the performance of sales enablement tools and product marketing campaigns, using feedback and data to continuously improve outcomes.

Requirements:
- 5-7 years of Product Marketing experience and a bachelor’s degree
- Degree in business, marketing, real estate, or sciences a plus
- Demonstrable track record of crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content
- Experience with coordinating both software and hardware product launches
- Experience with market and competitive landscape research and needs assessments
- Passion for Internet of Things (IoT), software-as-a-service, technology, and innovative thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for new technologies and working in fast-moving markets
- Can take high level direction from leadership and own project development, execution, and completion
- Desire and willingness to think differently and voice thoughts and opinions to leadership
- Desire to become a subject matter expert within the IoT property automation and rental market domain
- Background in real estate or residential property management a plus
