Order Management Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

Alarm.com is seeking an International Supply Chain & Fulfillment Coordinator to join our dynamic global supply chain team. You will be at the heart of managing orders, forecasts, and partner relationships across all regions outside the United States and Canada. This role requires strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with diverse customers, partners, and internal teams worldwide. You’ll help ensure smooth order processing from receipt to delivery while contributing to process improvements that drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process customer orders between systems, business partners, and customers ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.
  • Review incoming orders for accuracy, contract compliance, and business guidelines.
  • Enter order, routing, and financial data into ERP and other systems to enable prompt shipping and quality control.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with logistics providers and ensure timely order picking and packing with operations.
  • Resolve order processing and invoicing issues, escalating as needed.
  • Maintain high levels of quality control and validation of completed work.
  • Track and report daily metrics, including unshipped orders and orders pending internal review.
  • Support inventory forecasting and purchasing for global partners.
  • Collaborate with international suppliers, product managers, and marketing to align product availability and delivery timelines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.
  • Work with supplier base and category planning to provide inbound routing direction and tracking of finished goods and raw material shipments.
  • Work closely with international and domestic distribution centers and suppliers to ensure hardware order fulfillment - providing on-site representation and guidance when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in order management, logistics, ERP systems, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and MS Office; familiarity with MicroStrategy a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with global stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to work outside standard business hours to support overseas partners.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to operate independently and meet deadlines in high-volume periods.
