The Learning & Development Manager is a strategic partner to the Customer Operations leadership team, responsible for designing and delivering impactful learning programs that drive team performance and customer success across AlertMedia’s global Customer Operations team.

What you get to do every day:  

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with Customer Operations goals and business priorities.  
  • Continuously assess training needs and adapt programs to evolving team and customer requirements in a high growth SaaS environment.   
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and ongoing training initiatives for employees in the UK, US, and Mexico, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and accessible.  
  • Use data and feedback to measure effectiveness and improve learning outcomes.   
  • Embrace and incorporate emerging technologies, including AI tools, to enhance training delivery, content creation, and learner engagement.  
  • Stay current on industry trends and recommend innovative solutions that improve learning impact.   
  • Partner closely with Customer Operations leadership and cross-functional teams to align learning initiatives with business needs.  
  • Effectively communicate plans, progress, and results to all stakeholders.   
  • Lead efforts to document and optimize operational processes, ensuring clarity, consistency, and scalability.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain up-to-date knowledge resources 
  • Become an expert in the AlertMedia platform and tools and its uses for our customers  
  • Contribute to and enhance AlertMedia’s culture, values, and vision for the future  

What you bring to the role:  

  • 3+ years’ experience in Learning & Development, preferably supporting customer-facing or operations teams.   
  • Comfortable adopting and championing new technologies, including agentic and generative AI, as part of learning solutions.  
  • Strong instructional design, facilitation, and project management skills (such as Canva, Wrike, Articulate). 
  • Data-driven approach to measuring and improving training effectiveness.  
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills.  
  • Passion for continuous learning and innovation. 
  • A demonstrated ability to bring energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to your work. 
  • A passion for continual learning with a desire and willingness to be coached. 
  • A creative, collaborative spirit and commitment to driving operational excellence through learning. 
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment. 
  • Strong listening skills. 
  • Thrives with both autonomy and collaboration. 
  • This is an in-office, hybrid position (2-3 days a week) in our downtown Austin, Texas headquarters.
