As the Senior Director, Segment Marketing & Events, you’ll play a central role in AlertMedia's go-to-market strategy—driving how we engage, convert, and grow across market segments. You’ll lead a global team responsible for high-impact outbound and event initiatives, partner closely with Sales and GTM leaders, and ensure marketing investments translate into opportunities, pipeline, and bookings. This role balances leadership, strategy, and execution in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

What you’ll get to do every day:

  • Provide strategic leadership for outbound marketing and event programs across new business segments, including outbound campaigns, gifting, associations, dinners, trade shows, virtual events, roundtables, and more to drive pipeline creation.
  • Oversee GTM strategy & execution in EMEA for full-funnel demand programs—including email, events, webinars, gifting, associations, advocacy, and more to drive market interest.
  • Be accountable for opportunity and pipeline metrics across all new business segments, ensuring accurate attribution and consistent reporting to inform strategy, planning, and executive decision-making.
  • Cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships to align Sales and Marketing around opportunity and pipeline creation targets.
  • Manage and steward an annual budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and clear ROI visibility.
  • Lead and mentor a global team across segment marketing and event functions, enabling high-impact execution and growth.

What you bring to the role:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with 5+ years focused on outbound programs & events.  
  • 5+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling outbound & events programs that translate to revenue.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with a track record of building strong partnerships with Sales and Sales Development.
  • Skilled at distilling complex performance data into concise, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong copywriter with exceptional attention to detail & experience leveraging AI to increase output.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to shift priorities quickly based on evolving business needs.
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Sendoso, Wrike, and FullCircle preferred.
  • This is a hybrid position (2-3 days a week) based in our beautiful downtown headquarters in Austin, Texas.
