  • Our reputation is priceless
  • Hard work pays off
AlertMedia is seeking a Strategic Intelligence Analyst (Shift: Tues-Sat, 9am-5pm CT) to join our Global Intelligence team. This role will focus primarily on the Americas region, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. This role will play a critical part in helping customers understand and prepare for events and emerging risks that may impact their people, operations, and business continuity. As a Strategic Intelligence Analyst, you will leverage open-source intelligence, analytical tradecraft, and a variety of intelligence sources to identify, assess, and communicate risks associated with future events, geopolitical developments, evolving global trends, and activist movements.

A primary focus of this role will be monitoring and assessing planned and emerging events across the Americas, including demonstrations, protests, labor actions, counter-protests, political rallies, major public gatherings, and other activity that may create operational, travel, safety, or reputational impacts for organizations. Additionally, you will serve as a regional intelligence resource for the Americas, monitoring the region for significant developments; elections and transition periods; political activity; organized crime and cartel-related security trends; border, migration, and transport issues; and emerging trends that may affect customers and their employees.

In addition to producing timely intelligence alerts and assessments, you will contribute to recurring intelligence products and reporting, helping customers understand what is happening, why it matters, and what impacts may follow.

As one of the fastest growing software companies in the nation, we're focused on finding the best talent and building the best team to continue accelerating our rapid growth to keep up with our demand!

Who You Are:

You have previous experience as a Strategic Intelligence Analyst, Intelligence Analyst, Security Analyst, Geopolitical Risk Analyst, or in another role that required you to be mission-focused, analytical, highly organized, and able to work effectively within time constraints. You are skilled at collecting, evaluating, and analyzing information from a variety of sources and transforming complex developments into clear, actionable intelligence.

You're inspired to make a difference and understand the importance and responsibility of supporting customers through critical events and evolving risk landscapes. You have sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to make thoughtful decisions when information is incomplete, conflicting, or rapidly evolving.

You are an independent problem solver who communicates clearly, writes effectively, and collaborates well with others. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, welcome feedback, and are motivated by opportunities to strengthen intelligence capabilities and customer outcomes.

You are comfortable owning a regional portfolio with limited day-to-day direction, proactively identifying collection priorities, escalating significant developments, and making sound analytic judgments in ambiguous or fast-moving situations.

What You'll Get to Do Every Day:
  • Utilize open-source intelligence and a variety of collection tools to identify, assess, and monitor planned events and emerging risks across the Americas region. Support efforts across other regions as needed.
  • Monitor and assess planned demonstrations, protests, labor strikes, and other activism-related activity and upcoming events to identify potential impacts to business operations, employee safety, travel, and business continuity.
  • Serve as the primary intelligence resource for an Americas-focused area of responsibility, maintaining awareness of elections, political developments, civil unrest, labor activity, security incidents, and emerging regional trends.
  • Research, analyze, and assess complex events and developments, transforming information from multiple sources into timely intelligence alerts, assessments, and other intelligence products that provide relevant context, potential impacts, and actionable insights.
  • Contribute to recurring intelligence reporting, including weekly intelligence briefs, situation reports, and other strategic intelligence deliverables.
  • Evaluate information from a variety of sources, validate reporting, and ensure intelligence products meet the highest standards of accuracy, relevance, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Global Intelligence Team to refine collection methodologies, enhance analytical processes, and continuously improve intelligence coverage and reporting.
What You Bring to the Role:
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in intelligence analysis, strategic intelligence, geopolitical risk, security operations, international relations, risk analysis, or a related field requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate evolving situations, identify relevant information, establish priorities, and communicate accurate intelligence under time constraints.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to transform complex information into clear, concise, and actionable intelligence products for diverse audiences.
  • Strong research and synthesis skills, including the ability to quickly evaluate multiple sources, develop subject-matter familiarity, and produce organized, objective analysis.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, including the ability to validate information and assess source credibility.
  • Familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT) methodologies, social media monitoring, and intelligence collection tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain situational awareness across a broad geographic portfolio with minimal supervision.
  • A willing partner in giving and receiving feedback on product, process, and performance.
  • Professional Spanish reading proficiency is preferred; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
  • Experience monitoring or analyzing risk in the Americas is preferred.
  • As a key player on a 24/7 team, this role requires commitment to your agreed-upon shift with flexibility of hours as needed to support the business. This may include evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays from time to time.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
