
Global Director of Human Resources- Bilingual English/Spanish
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Global HR Director to lead the human resources function of our international organizations. This role is responsible for building and overseeing HR operations, talent acquisition, policies, and procedures across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, cultural standards, and global organizational objectives.
The Global HR Director will play a strategic role in shaping the HR department’s structure, driving recruitment and talent development, and aligning people operations with the company’s international growth goals.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing HR in multinational organizations, with particular expertise in Latin America (LATAM). This individual must be a forward-thinking leader, fluent in Spanish and English, capable of fostering collaboration across diverse teams and cultural environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Direct and coordinate global HR operations, ensuring policies and practices align with organizational goals and comply with international regulations.
- Develop and implement the HR department’s structure, establishing scalable processes that support global growth.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives.
- Talent Acquisition
- Lead global talent acquisition strategy, overseeing recruitment, selection, and onboarding for international roles.
- Manage the use of Greenhouse (ATS) to ensure an efficient and data-driven recruitment process.
- Partner with hiring managers to build diverse, high-performing teams across multiple geographies.
- Policy & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, cultural practices, and international employment regulations across all regions.
- Conduct workplace audits to verify compliance with local and global legal standards.
- Address incidents of employee misconduct, applying corrective measures including disciplinary action when necessary.
- Employee Relations & Development
- Partner with domestic HR leaders to ensure consistent policies and programs across geographies.
- Oversee performance review, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Direct the learning and development team to design and deliver scalable training programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture across multiple regions.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, wellness, and leave policies.
- Partner with finance and leadership to design, implement, and manage competitive compensation structures in line with market benchmarks.
- Systems & Data Integrity
- Oversee the Human Resources Information System (ADP), ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and timely resolution of irregularities.
- Generate HR analytics and reports to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 5+ years in a multinational organization.
- Strong expertise in Latin American (LATAM) employment laws, practices, and cultural dynamics.
- Proven track record in building and scaling HR structures for global organizations.
- Hands-on experience with ADP (HRIS) and Greenhouse (ATS) preferred.
- Exceptional knowledge of international HR compliance, labor relations, and cultural diversity management
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
