Algolia has an immediate opening for an Website Optimization Manager reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing. As a leader in the Search and Discovery industry, we aim to continuously optimize our web presence through strategic content management, site performance improvements, and collaboration with teams across the company. We’re looking for a skilled Website Optimization Manager to take ownership of our website presence, improve user experience, and drive engagement and conversion rates.
The Website Optimization Manager will be responsible for ensuring our global website is optimized to meet both user needs and business goals. This role requires a creative and analytical thinker with a strategic mindset, capable of managing a wide variety of tasks including content creation, persona management, and website personalization and testing. You will work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure consistency in voice, address content gaps, and drive performance across global websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize conversion: Oversee conversion optimization across the site – landing pages, main site, blogs, etc, to deliver on quarterly traffic and conversion targets through streamlined user journeys, on-page improvements, improved personalization, and other strategies.
- Lead testing and iteration: Ideate, develop and test ideas with A/B testing and personalization suite, and collaborate with Design and Marketing Operations teams to implement advanced testing.
- Persona Management & Voice Consistency: Work with content and brand teams to maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across the entire Algolia digital presence, ensuring alignment with key personas and target audiences.
- SEO: Working with our SEO agency, you will develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions. Work with internal and external content and SEO teams to ensure content is optimized to drive highly-qualified organic traffic to the site.
- Landing Page Optimization: Enhance the performance of landing pages and ensure optimal content delivery (text, video, demos, images, links) for conversions (using A/B testing, landing page optimization, and UX design principles) to drive user engagement and on-site conversions.
- Landing Page Content Production: Assist stakeholders to create engaging and dynamic landing page content that resonates with users and supports business goals.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work with product, marketing, design, partner and revenue teams to ensure website content is aligned with business objectives and addresses any content gaps.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in website optimization, content strategy, or digital marketing roles.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices (keyword research, link building, on-page optimization, site structure, crawling issues, …).
- Experience in managing landing pages and developing effective conversion strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude, …).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Must be located in US Eastern or Central Time Zone
Preferred Skills and Background:
- 5-to-7 years experience working in a web optimization/professional role.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript fundamentals (for advanced tracking and interactions, and basic web development principles.
- Strong analytical proficiency with the ability to track and measure KPIs, generate reports, interpret web performance data to identify optimization opportunities and make informed decisions.
- Strong understanding of how search engine algorithms work to effectively improve a website’s ranking and user experience.
- Familiarity with persona development and maintaining consistent brand voice.
- Experience collaborating with designers, video producers, demo engineers and other creatives to produce multimedia content.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, brilliant interpersonal skills, and be ‘culturally-aware’.

The annual base salary compensation range for this role reflects US market pay data within this location. The exact compensation offered for this role may vary depending on specific location and job-related knowledge, technical skills, and experience; and is only one part of our Total Rewards philosophy to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
Remote US: Base Salary Pay Range
$120,000 - $152,000 USD
