Manager, People Operations & Workplace

Our People Team is looking for a Paris-based Manager, People Operations & Workplace to support our EMEA teams by managing employee day-to-day questions in our ticketing system, improving processes and documentation, and driving operational excellence in workplace management.

The ideal candidate will have experience serving as a local lead, managing statutory requirements, and overseeing CSE (Comité Social et Économique) matters. They should be comfortable working independently, collaborating across distributed teams, and driving People Operations and Workplace best practices, processes, and programs. You will be a global collaborator, supporting our teams across different time zones, particularly in EMEA and APAC.

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:

  • Serve as the local People Operations lead for France, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, including local labor laws, LOA (leave of absence) management, and benefits administration.
  • Manage employee queries and support through our People Support Help Desk, tracking and reporting SLAs, fulfilling data requests, and building scalable processes.
  • Act as a key partner in HR compliance matters for EMEA & APAC, ensuring adherence to local employment laws and best practices.
  • Oversee Paris, London, and Sydney office and workplace management, ensuring an efficient and employee-friendly environment.
  • Manage local vendors, office operations, and workplace programs that enhance the employee experience.
  • Participate in local initiatives such as Mobility Pass, Global Giving Days, and other engagement activities.
  • Support CSE-related processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders and ensuring compliance with French labor law requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Develop and implement processes, policies, and documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Scope and manage system enhancements, tools, and workflows to improve effectiveness.
  • Proactively identify business needs and build scalable solutions.

YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE:

  • 5-7 years of experience in People Operations, with a strong understanding of French statutory requirements, labor law, and compliance.
  • 2-5 years of people management experience. 
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Experience managing CSE processes and workplace operations in France.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive initiatives and handle business activities with a proactive, action-oriented approach.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a process-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and HR systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a global mindset, with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
  • Ability to work in our Paris office 2-3 days per week.
