Position Overview
Align is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support Project Teams delivering hyperscale data center white space fit-out projects. This role serves as a critical operational and administrative partner to project teams responsible for the interior construction and buildout of mission-critical data center environments, including mechanical, electrical, MEP) infrastructure, and HPC AI cabling.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, process-driven, and experienced in supporting construction projects through documentation management, financial management, project controls, scheduling coordination, reporting, and construction management systems. This position may be performed remotely, and can be based out of the DFW office with required in-office presence multiple days per week, or assigned to project sites as needed. The role may require the ability to travel, including deployment to projects outside the assigned region, in support of operational and project demands
Key Responsibilities
Project Administration & Coordination
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to Project Teams overseeing hyperscale data center fit-out projects.
- Assist with project setup, maintenance, and closeout activities.
- Coordinate project documentation, reports, meeting minutes, action items, and project communications.
- Track project deliverables, milestones, schedules, and outstanding items to ensure timely completion.
- Support project budgeting, forecasting, procurement tracking, and cost reporting activities.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure compliance with client and company documentation standards.
Procore Administration & Project Controls
- Serve as the primary Procore administrator and subject matter expert for assigned projects.
- Create and configure new projects within Procore.
- Manage user access, permissions, workflows, forms, and project templates.
- Support field teams with Procore troubleshooting, training, and best practices.
- Maintain project financials—including budgets, prime contracts, commitments, forecasting, and reporting—to ensure alignment across project, accounting, and operations teams.
- Ensure accurate management of RFIs, submittals, drawings, change events, punch lists, meeting minutes, and other project management, quality and safety tools.
- Generate project dashboards, reports, and status updates for internal and client stakeholders.
Scheduling & Reporting
- Assist Project Managers with project schedule updates and tracking.
- Coordinate project reporting and progress documentation.
- Support schedule management activities using tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar project management software.
- Monitor project status and proactively identify administrative issues that may impact project execution.
Team & Client Support
- Act as a liaison between field teams, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal departments.
- Coordinate meetings, project reviews, and follow-up activities.
- Support project onboarding activities and documentation requirements for new projects.
- Help drive consistency and process improvement across multiple active projects.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience supporting commercial construction, mission-critical, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with Procore construction management software.
- Experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Construction Administrator, Project Controls, or similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting geographically dispersed project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Familiarity with MEP construction and coordination processes.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or other scheduling tools.
- Understanding of construction documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and project controls.

- Project Managers receive timely, accurate project support that allows them to focus on field execution.
- Projects are properly configured and maintained within Procore.
- Documentation, reporting, and project controls are consistently organized and up to date.
- Project teams have reliable administrative support that improves communication, efficiency, and project delivery.
