Video Production Intern

ALKU’s Creative team drives the direction and execution for overall brand campaigns, advertising, content, and social and digital direction for the company. Through photography, graphic design, and overall vision for all forms of creative, the Creative team takes pride in making content for our brand with an attempt to push ALKU to the greatest name in the staffing industry. This role will be responsible for being in person on shooting days, editing and color-grading raw footage and creating simple animations and motion graphics to bring concepts to life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in shooting and capturing high-quality video footage for various projects (e.g., events, interviews, internal engagement etc.).
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for video content.
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Ensure videos are edited to meet client and project specifications, adhering to deadlines and brand guidelines.
- Support in managing and organizing video assets and footage in a streamlined manner.
- Assist in preparing and setting up filming equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Assist with color correction, audio editing, and video effects to enhance the quality of videos.
- Maintain a strong attention to detail throughout the production and editing process to ensure consistency and quality.
- Contribute creative ideas to improve the visual storytelling process.
Requirements:
- Current enrollment in or recent graduate from a film, media production, communications, or related program.
- Strong passion for videography, video editing, and storytelling.
- Basic understanding of videography principles and camera equipment.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is a plus (After Effects, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A portfolio or reel showcasing previous video projects (if available) is a plus.
