Director of Provider Partnerships

About the Role: We are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Director of Provider Partnerships to lead the expansion of our external provider network by building strategic provider relationships. You'll be asked to identify, establish, and nurture partnerships with healthcare professionals and health systems to increase patient referrals and drive the adoption of Allara’s telehealth solutions. This position requires someone who can build authentic connections with medical providers while developing scalable approaches to partnership growth.
This position requires working out of our NYC office 3x/week. May consider remote.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic outreach - Research and identify high-potential healthcare providers, clinics, and systems aligned with our mission, then execute targeted engagement campaigns to convert them into active partners.
- Cultivate meaningful provider relationships - Build and maintain strong connections through personalized communications, in-person visits, and value-added interactions that demonstrate our commitment to improving patient outcomes.
- Design scalable partnership frameworks - Create data-informed evaluation criteria and partnership models that align with our growth objectives while delivering clear value to healthcare providers and their patients.
- Optimize partner experience - Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, operations, and tech to develop resources, workflows, and support systems that enhance engagement and optimize partnership effectiveness.
- Analyze performance metrics - Track key partnership indicators and referral data to continuously refine outreach strategies, improve conversion rates, and report outcomes to leadership.
- Contribute to team development - Help shape the evolution of our partnership function by improving processes, sharing best practices, and building out a team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
- Ideally, prior experience building and managing provider partnerships, provider network management, healthcare contracting, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare referral pathways, reimbursement models, regulatory compliance, and clinical workflows.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Along with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal departments
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive strategic initiatives, and manage complex projects.
- Analytical mindset, with proficiency in data-driven decision making.
- Experience with telehealth or digital healthcare preferred.
