The Opportunity
The Clinical Operations Manager will serve as a strategic partner to clinical and practice operations leadership, driving execution on key initiatives that scale our clinical organization beyond 500+ providers. This role owns project management, cross-functional coordination, and operational execution across clinical operations, provider success, and practice operations functions. The ideal candidate thrives in high-growth environments, translates strategy into action, and delivers results with minimal oversight.
Location: Hybrid (NYC). We value in-person collaboration and aim for at least three days per week in our NYC office, with flexibility as needed.
Your Impact
- Own end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives (e.g., clinical workflow efficiencies, provider quality metrics, capacity planning, clinical program launches)
- Build project plans, track milestones, identify blockers, and ensure on-time delivery, translating strategic priorities into actionable workstreams with clear owners and timelines
- Analyze data and synthesize insights and solutions to improve key clinical and operational outcomes
- Serve as the "get it done" partner to senior leadership on high-impact, time-sensitive projects
- Design and implement scalable operational processes for a rapidly growing clinical organization
- Support key operational metrics: provider capacity forecasting, onboarding cohort tracking, and state-level growth planning
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions that improve quality and reduce manual work
- Support leadership with ad hoc analyses, presentations, and strategic planning
- Contribute to quarterly planning, budgeting, and organizational design projects
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in operations, strategy, or program management, with at least 1-2 years in healthcare operations (telehealth, provider networks, clinical operations, and/or payer operations)
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills: Can build models, interpret data, create dashboards, and derive insights that drive decisions
- Exceptional project management: Builds clear plans, tracks progress, holds teams accountable, delivers on time
- Bias for action: Relentless, moves quickly, figures things out independently, doesn't wait for perfect information
- Excellent communication: Can influence without authority, present to executives, and drive alignment across teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scaling clinical operations in high-growth environments (100+ to 500+ providers)
- Experience with tools like Airtable, Metabase, Looker, or similar data/project management platforms
- Understanding of women's health, virtual care, or collaborative care models
