VTC and Cybersecurity Support Technician

Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) is looking for a VTC and Cybersecurity Support Technician to support the Classified Cybersecurity and Operational Security team in the performance of their respective duties. This position assists in ensuring the appropriate operational security posture for the Site COMSEC, Classified Video teleconferencing (VTC) and Classified equipment by ensuring the implementation of the Site’s policies and procedures.
Specific responsibilities include:

- Managing classified Video teleconferencing (VTC).
- Maintaining classified VTC calendars.
- Scheduling classified VTCs.
- Coordinating classified VTC locations.
- Coordinating VTC Bridge Communications.
- Setting up and dismantling classified VTCs.
- Ensuring that classified conference rooms comply with Technical Security requirements.
- when classified VTCs are in use and when they are not in use.
- Security escort for unauthorized personnel.
- Coordinate the excessing of classified equipment.
- Additional assistance to Federal personnel with COMSEC activities such as:
- Inventories
- Destructions
- Tactical Local Area Network Encryptor (TacLane) maintenance (keying)
- Sectera Secure Voice Encryption vIPer maintenance (keying)

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and minimum of five (5) years of related work experience.
- High proficiency with Microsoft 365 productivity software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a DOE “Q” clearance.
- Active DOE “Q” or DoD “TS” clearance preferred.

These include, but are not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and competencies that align with the specific role, geographic location, educational background, and contract provisions related to labor categories specific to the position. We are committed to offering a competitive compensation package that reflects the value and expertise that each candidate brings to our team.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is $60,000 - $70,000.
